Job Description Job Description Contemporary Art Teachers - Part-time One River School of Art & Design - Transforming Art Education $25-$35 Per Hour Job Description We are currently recruiting for Art teachers for Grades 3-12 to teach digital and traditional art techniques. Our classes run on weekday afternoons (Mondays and Tuesdays) and weekends (Saturdays) and the possibility extra subbing classes in our Middletown, NJ School. During the School year our classes typically start at 3:30pm so it is a great opportunity for public and private school art teachers and current art students in graduate programs to earn extra money doing what they love. Our curriculum is created centrally so there is minimal prep required and all tools, equipment and supplies are provided. Our Digital teachers need to be experts in the Adobe Creative Suite on Mac: Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, After Effects and Procreate. Qualifications / Requirements: 1 years of experience teaching traditional studio art, and/or digital art or digital design classes (Anime and Manga style a preference) BFA or BS Art Education Illustrator, Animate, Photoshop, Procreate. Thoughtful communication skills A passion for One River School's mission Must live within easy commutable distance from work site location You will teach one or more of a variety of proprietary digital art classes. Our students are in grades 3-12 from beginner to advanced level. Our students are motivated and hardworking. Our class sizes are small and there is no prep needed outside of the classroom.
