summary: Responsible for performing all phases of architectural
work from conceptual design through construction
administration.Compensation for this position is $125,000 -
$155,000 annually, commensurate with experience, education and
certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based
on the requirements described within the job description. We notice

and Responsibilities
- Act as project manager for assigned projects
- Work closely with the Studio Lead to execute project plans
- Develop project proposals with a design scope, schedule,
budget, fees and subcontractors
- Maintain project Quality Management Plan
- Maintain project schedule and budget
- Coordinate with Studio Lead to directly supervise the teams'
design and technical delivery
- Coordinate with Studio Lead on appropriate technical solutions
and product strategies
- Provide the client with technical and design solutions in a
timely, efficient, and meaningful manner
- Create contract documents for a project. Project stages may
include programming, conceptual design, schematic design, design
development, construction documents, and construction
administration
- Analyze and document code requirements
- Utilize computer-assisted design software and equipment to
prepare project designs and plans - specifically Revit, BIM 360 and
AutoCAD
- Understanding of design-bid-build and design-build projects for
Federal Government projects
- Collaborate with in-house engineers and designers, outside
consultants, and staff to meet clients' goals
- Create and edit building evaluation and design report that may
include conditions budgets cost estimates and schedules
- Create, edit, and coordinate project specifications and project
manuals
- Participate in quality control reviews throughout project
lifecycle
- Review and process project invoices and progress reports
- Review construction contractor submittals and shop
drawings
- Review construction contractor requests for information (RFI's)
and Change Orders, and issue construction document clarifications
as required
- Create and submit project extra work orders (EWO) with a design
scope, schedule, budget, fees and subcontractors
- Perform other related duties as assignedRequired Skills

- Bachelors of Architecture
- Minimum of 8+ years of architectural design experience
- Professional Architect License
- Proficient with computer-assisted design software such as
Revit, Sketch-Up, AutoCAD
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint
- Experience working on Federal and Department of Defense
projects
- Familiarity with Federal and Department of Defense design
standard and project conventions
- Familiarity with Specsintct
- Ability to obtain a DoD TS security clearance
- Masters of Architecture
- DoD TS SCI clearance
- Proficient with Federal and Department of Defense design
standards, project conventions, and Specsintact
- Proficient with Microsoft Project or other scheduling
software
- LEED AP accreditation
- NCARB accreditationAble to complete out of town assignments,
typically 1 to 2 nights per quarter.Working ConditionsWork is
performed within a general office environment on a hybrid schedule.
Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional
standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and
there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise,
