DescriptionOSW Equipment & Repair, LLC, a subsidiary of Federal

and Tempe, Arizona.As a Quality Warranty Manager, you are
responsible for establishing and managing a robust Quality
Management System (QMS) while ensuring raw materials, processes,
and finished products meet or exceed specifications. The position
oversees quality improvement across all stages-from design and
production to service and support-driving customer satisfaction,
reducing costs, and ensuring compliance with standards. Key duties
include managing the Quality/Warranty Department, implementing
corrective actions, collaborating across teams and suppliers, and
delivering year-over-year improvements in quality, delivery, and
cost. The role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and
technical expertise to champion continuous improvement initiatives.

- Developing and managing a formal Quality Management System
(QMS).
- Ensuring quality of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods meet
specifications.
- Leading the quality improvement process for products and
services, including design, suppliers, production, service, and
support.
- Managing the Quality/Warranty Department, including personnel
and operating budget.
- Delivering significant year-over-year improvements in quality,
delivery, and cost to drive profitability.
- Implementing corrective and preventive actions to reduce the
Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
- Implementing and maintaining a formal QMS at the facility,
including internal and external audit programs.
- Evaluating and identifying process effectiveness, introducing
metrics, and reporting improvements to management.
- Developing and championing quality initiatives, monitoring
customer feedback, and working with customers on root cause
analysis and corrective actions.
- Reducing COPQ and process variation through quality
initiatives.
- Collaborating with Supply Chain Management to ensure supplier
quality certification and ongoing compliance.
- Providing ongoing quality training for production operators and
staff.
- Reviewing and revising QMS procedures to improve efficiency and
reduce costs.
- Managing the QA department to ensure optimal performance of
reporting functions.
- Preparing and submitting quality reports for
management.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Quality, Engineering,
Manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent work
experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of quality system experience (ISO experience
preferred).
- 1+ years of personnel management experience.
- Experience in managing quality functions in steel or metal
manufacturing, especially with contract manufacturers and supply
bases, is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- Ability to walk and stand on concrete, including kneeling,
crouching, bending, twisting, turning, and occasional
climbing.
- Lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.Additional Job Information:
- Wage Expectations: $80,000 - 110,000 annually.
- Pay: Exempt position, paid bi-weekly.
- Schedule: Four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday.
