Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• 
  
• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
  
• Install, maintain, and repair heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration and kitchen equipment, including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and cooking facilities.
  
• Assist in inspecting pools, buildings, and other systems. Repair any noted safety hazard to insure the highest standards of safety for our guests and employees.
  
• Ensure specifications set by ride manufacturers, corporate policies, and the State of Maryland are complied with and documented accordingly.
  
• Cut, thread, and bend pipe composed of iron, steel, brass, clay, and plastic using hand and power tools.
  
• Ensure wet and dry pipe systems operate at peak efficiency using preventative maintenance methodologies.
  
• Follow schematics and blueprints to locate water lines and pipe connections.
  
• Keep all daily repair logs and journals current and accurate of maintenance performed.
  
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Reports directly to the Plumbing Lead.
    
    Skills and Qualifications
    
    • 
      
    • Should have at least 3 years of related experience and be able to work well in team environment.
      
    • Possess current Journeyman's Plumbing license.
      
    • Will be required to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights, weekends and holidays.
      
    • Must be able to troubleshoot clearly, calmly and safely in the presence of guests, co-workers and park management in a fast-paced environment.
      
    • Must possess practical skills and proficient knowledge in HVAC/R and plumbing.
      
    • Must possess a valid driver's license.
      
    • Must have tools and equipment to perform required duties and skills as defined above.
      
    • Computer literacy. Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications.
      
      Physical Requirements

      • Required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl repeatedly. Will require work in confined spaces as needed.
        
      • Will frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds.
        
      • Must possess normal to average corrective hearing.
        
      • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
        
      • Must possess the physical dexterity to operate hand tools and motor vehicles.
        
      • Must possess strong safety sensitivity & ability to work with many different types of devices.
