consider becoming part of our team. The Associate, State Campaigns
will support the implementation and execution of Share Our
Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign in cities and states across the
country. This includes both internal coordination between Share Our
Strength staff as well as communications with partners in the
field. Under the direction of the Associate Director, State
Campaigns, the State Campaigns Associate will work closely with
headquarters and campaign colleagues to coordinate our work, ensure
deadlines are being met, and keep internal and external
stakeholders informed. The State Campaigns Associate will work
collaboratively with local and national No Kid Hungry stakeholders,
track and communicate campaign activities and impact data, maintain
data and grant impact reporting, and support the collection and
dissemination of best practices from the field. This position will
require the candidate to be based in Washington, D.C. metropolitan
area. The position offers a salary range of $60k-$65k. Exact
compensation within the stated salary range may vary based on
skills, experience, and internal equity. DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves as a key resource in day-to-day management
of No Kid Hungry partners and stakeholders. Develop organizational
communications concerning No Kid Hungry campaigns and programmatic
initiatives, including working across departments to assess their
information needs and developing solutions to meet them. Develop
external communications concerning No Kid Hungry campaign
activities, including but not limited to newsletters, blogs, and
website content. Manage internal and external data tracking,
reporting, and meeting requests. Develop and produce materials to
keep internal and external stakeholders up to date on No Kid Hungry
campaigns, including briefings, presentations, progress updates,
and meeting agendas. Maintain a working knowledge of metrics,
strategies, best practices and program impact stories related to No
Kid Hungry campaigns and support dissemination of findings.
Identify, recommend, and support the implementation of
opportunities for strategic analysis and documentation of best
practices. Plan conference and meeting logistics, develop agendas,
and coordinate with speakers and external vendors. Provide
administrative oversight as required. This may include scheduling,
arranging travel, coordinating the execution of contracts, and
payment of invoices. Represent the State Campaigns team and Program
department in interdepartmental meetings, internal projects, and
cross-departmental meetings. Partner with colleagues to support
Share Our Strength's work to be a diverse and inclusive

organization and throughout our work. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's
degree in a relevant field is preferred, but not required, or
equivalent to at least 2 years of work experience. Project
management and/or relationship management experience. Strong
written and oral communications experience and short and long-range
planning and follow through skills. Deadline-driven, with a high
level of accuracy and attention to detail. Interpersonal and
relationship management skills, including the ability to identify
and work through challenges, are underscored by emotional
intelligence. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a
(virtual and in-person) team environment. Ability to cultivate and
maintain positive, mutually beneficial relationships, internally
and externally. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ability to
initiate, organize, prioritize, and work independently. Accustomed
to working in a team culture focused on accountability, achieving
goals, collaboration, and innovation. Strong computer skills in MS
Office suite. Demonstrated interest in anti-hunger and anti-poverty
