OPS Consulting is seeking an experienced Research Scientist Level 3 to work in the following locations:Baltimore, MDCollege Park, MDRequired Experience: The Research Scientist evaluates and provides expert advice on the application of scientific principles and concepts. The Research Scientist also maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories, staying abreast of the scientific literature and conferences. Additional experience is required in the following areas:

• Designs, develops, and executes scientific studies.
• Executes scientific studies.
• Applies scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions and products.
• May participate in development of intellectual property.
• May coordinate interdepartmental activities and research.
• Provide technical consultation on projects in area of primary expertise.
• Applies scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions and products typically 7+ years prior to landing on a product roadmap.Qualifications:
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Physics plus 12+ years of experience or a Master's degree plus 9+ years of experience or a Ph.D Degree plus 7+ years experience.Security Clearance:
