Uses precautions in washing "contaminated" or "isolation" linenDistributes clean laundry in laundry cartsFollows laundry procedures, sorting laundry items by category.Washes daily.Dries items properly according to the texture of the material.Folds all laundry when it is properly dried.Protects linens and clothing when laundering.Cares for laundry equipment. --Assures that carts for the distribution of linen are spotlessly clean. --Washing machines, dryers and other laundry equipment are cleaned at least once weekly.Employment Qualifications of Laundry Aide:Must be able to follow simple oral directions. --Some laundry experience preferred. --Working knowledge of commercial laundry processes, equipment and procedures helpful.
