CNN is looking for a Senior Staff Product Designer for our Connected TV (CTV) Engagement team. This team will define the future vision of CNN's video and interactive experiences, ensuring they are discoverable, engaging, and continually evolving to maximize user retention.
Your Role Accountabilities:

• Be an integral part of CNN's Engagement team, creating video content user experiences that engage and delight users.
  
• Partner with product and editorial teams on design strategies to increase user retention and engagement.
  
• Conduct rapid prototyping within a strategic, cross-functional team to test and validate new content formats and engagement mechanisms.
  
• Guide the overall design vision, utilizing user research, analytics, and audience insights to improve content delivery and personalization.
  
• Collaborate with design and product teams to integrate new content features across CNN digital platforms.
  
• Push the boundaries of CNN's design and innovation.
  
• Manage projects and deadlines effectively, and pivot as needed.
  
• Mentor junior designers to foster growth and development.
  
  Qualifications & Experience:
  
  
• 12+ years' experience as a cross-platform product designer, with at least 4 years on CTV video experiences; media experience is a plus.
  
• Mastery of Figma and prototyping tools.
  
• Strong visual and interaction design skills.
  
• Experience with design systems and component creation.
  
• Expertise in UX best practices, usability, user research, and testing.
  
• Understanding of mobile and web technologies.
  
• Excellent communication skills.
  
• Experience with program management tools like Confluence and Jira.
  
• Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or equivalent experience.

  In compliance with local law, the salary range for this role is $154,000.00 - $286,000.00 annually. Actual salaries vary based on multiple factors. Total compensation includes benefits such as health insurance, wellness programs, retirement plans, paid time off, and bonuses.
