2007----------Purpose--Prevents loss and control shrink by
performing loss prevention related activities and monitoring loss
prevention company policies and programs throughout the store.
Deters, detects and apprehends those individuals committing thefts
or other crimes against the Company at store level. Assists in
other areas related to Loss Prevention as required by their Loss
Prevention Manager.---- Provides a safe and secure store
environment for the Company's customers, associates, and
vendors.----Job Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesMonitors the
checkout area of the store for consumer fraud, associate dishonesty
and compliance with proper cash handling and cash register policies
and proceduresFollows up on front-end exception report transactions
as directed by the Loss Prevention ManagerObserves customers
throughout the store to monitor shrink control, safety and customer
serviceApprehends shoplifters in accordance with state and local
laws and company policyCooperates with and responds to requests by
police departments, courts and other public agencies under the
direction of Loss Prevention and/or Corporate CouncilMonitors the
receiving area of the store and conducts delivery audits to detect
vendor fraud, associate dishonesty and compliance with proper
receiving policies and proceduresAssists management in the
performance of loss prevention related inspectionsResponds to
Electronic Article Surveillance alarmsMaintains the equipment
related to loss prevention and physical security (e.g. the CCTV
equipment, which is located in the ceilings and throughout the
store, the electronic article surveillance equipment located at the
entry/exits and check stands, and the store's intrusion alarm
system)Conducts store inspections/audits ensuring compliance to all
policies related to shrink control and physical securityDocuments
all violations and advises store management and the Loss Prevention
ManagerConducts internal and vendor investigations at the direction
of the Loss Prevention ManagerParticipates in the store's Safety
CommitteeReports all incidents of unsafe associate conduct to store
management and the Loss Prevention ManagerReports all unsafe
conditions to store management and the Loss Prevention Manager and
takes immediate remedial action whenever an eminent safety hazard

immediate remedial action whenever freshness or quality standards

Compensation
Pay Range: $38000.00 - $51300.00 Annually ($18.27 - $24.66
Hourly)
Compensation:UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate
(or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position.
Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors,
including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and
any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.

there is no set salary. UNFI s commission plans are uncapped and
average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved,
among other factors.UNFI s compensation, benefits, and paid time
off policies are subject to change in the Company s sole
