Description:We are seeking a newly licensed stylist who exudes professionalism and is looking forcontinued education while building a clientele. Must be detail oriented and committed toexcellence, honesty, and integrity for Salon C'est Chic in Bowie, Maryland.Duties:

• Dual responsibilities as a salon assistant and stylist
• Follow all rules and regulations set forth in the Employee Handbook
• Perform services at skill level that is desired by clients
• Responsible for continuing growth in styling skills
• Communicating and consulting with clients to insure a satisfactory ending result
• Responsible for completing tracking and goal forms to ensure proper assessment of growth
• Attending team meetings as scheduled
• Participating in promotions and special events hosted by salon
• Up keep client notes and formulas
• Greet each client upon arrival.
• Properly drape and prep clients for services to include but not limited to, shampoo, condition, blow dry, silk out and some color services
• Ensure the stylist has all implements and products needed to perform service per client.
• Maintain cleanliness of salon and ensure all products are fully stock
• Up keep client notes and formulas
• Occasionally answer calls, take messages, and confirm appointment
• Assist the stylist(s) in ensuring EVERY client has a professional, comfortable, and wonderful salon experience.
• Responsible for continuing growth in improving skills
• Washing, folding towels, and robes when neededRequirements:
  • Cosmetology License
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Full time availability: 35hours +
