Position Objective This position is primarily responsible for identifying and developing potential customers into qualified leads that will generate new revenue as new customers such as Contract Furniture Dealers, Individual Manufacturers, and Fortune 1000 companies. This position works closely with Sales Managers to generate new business pipeline and support all facets of premium project management, cost management, fair and competitive pricing, vendor management, identifying upcoming opportunities and strategic needs. Expectations Deliver a pipeline of at least 120 Qualified Leads Annually. Achieved through 1) Outreach with potential customers in relevant markets, 2) Conversations with potential customers, and 3) Structured Meetings with potential customers. Essential Functions

  • Be a mentor & Trainer - Everyone at InstallNET is responsible, both formally and informally, for the mentorship, growth, development, and training of fellow team members across the company. Business Development
    • Identify new sales and services based on customer markets and industry trends to fulfill expansion of services and solutions in collaboration with Sales Managers, Owner, and CEO.
    • Generate new business leads through a systematic process - be the first touch for new customers.
    • Present InstallNET capabilities to potential customers creating sales objectives and executing a process to follow up on all sales leads.
    • Create approved content and materials to help build success in locating, developing business relationships.
    • The Business Development Rep will support the Sales Manager in managing the relationship until the customer is well established while ensuring a relationship between the new customer and the account manager with the expectation of a hand-off at 12 months.
    • Identify areas of sales improvement resulting in increased win rate.
    • Cultivates positive interactions and relationships with sales representatives, team leaders and managers, and executives to evaluate sales strategy and results.
    • Participate in creating an annual budget and forecast for new business.
    • Participate in Quarterly Business Review meetings (QBR's) and Bi-weekly check-ins with President/CEO to document progress, create and discuss a strategy for growth.
    • Manage records of sales, revenue, and other important data pertaining to business growth.
    • Perform customer need-analysis and provides value-add solutions developing ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty.
    • Collaborate with Sales Managers, Account Managers and Operations Manager to ensure the delivery of a successful customer experiences and retention of new and existing client relationships.
    • Maintains industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Sales Management
      • Follow-up on leads where appropriate - typically when the customer can enter their own quotes.
      • Help to competitively bid and win new sales opportunities for customers that InstallNET has not done business with in the preceding twelve months. This may include some or all of the following developing a statement of work, determine fair and competitive pricing, selecting appropriate Service Provider, and presenting to customer.
      • Competitive bid process also includes following-up on all quotes and transferring projects to the assigned production team once PO's are received and bids are won.
      • Develop National pricing strategy that supports intermarket opportunities for National End Users. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.?The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.? Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This position regularly requires long hours and occasional weekend work. Travel: As needed, -up to 25% Projects and/or leads will require out-of-the-area and overnight travel, varies depending on job and lead. Knowledge/Experience
        • Two (2) years' experience customer service or other people-oriented fields desired.
        • One (1) years' experience in business development/sales, preferably B2B sales. Required Education and Experience
          • Bachelor's Degree in related field (i.e. Business, Marketing, Sales) from an accredited college or university.
