Job Description Hours: Monday --- Friday, No Evenings or
Weekends Employer PAID 100% Family Coverage, Medical, Dental,

Paid Vacation, Paid Annual Leave, Paid Holidays Responsibilities:
Review the income to debt ratios, and analyze credit reports, as
outlined in policies and procedures. Review loan applications and
make recommendations of approval or denial to a loan officer.
Evaluate member-borrowing requests, identify needs, and recommend
appropriate loan products/counteroffers. Establish and maintain
effective member relations. Promote credit union products and
services by identifying members--- needs and selling benefits.
Ensure loans are processed within credit union policies Ensure
loans are processed in compliance with regulatory laws Ensure loan
protection and warranty products are promoted. Schedule loan
closings and prepare loan documents for approved loans. Perform
loan closings with members on approved loans in the office, through
the mail, and via the internet. Secure and perfect liens on titles
for proper recordation to protect the interest of the credit union
Examine and file titles for proper recordation information Examine
auto insurance must be current and file Complete assigned reporting
in a timely manner. Follow Lending Department Duties schedule.
Follow Teller Duties schedule. Perform routine member transactions,
including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments,
transfers and check to cash. Safeguard sensitive/confidential
member information in accordance with the credit union policies.
Participate in special promotions. Participate in ongoing education
as directed by the Operations Manager Perform other duties as
assigned. Abilities: The employee must have the ability to be a
self-starter and display a high degree of honesty, loyalty, and
integrity. Demonstrate ability to provide courteous, professional
service and establish member relations. Excellent oral and written
communication skills. Ability to use a personal computer.
Decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle
multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently within the
limits of policy and authority. Education/Experience Requirements:
Associates Degree or two years equivalent experience in a financial

Description The IBEW 26 Federal Credit Union is a member-owned
financial institution whose purpose is to promote and assist in the
financial well-being of members by providing professional,
personal, competitive, safe and sound financial services within the
financial ability of the credit union. IBEW 26 FCU strives to
become the primary financial institution of its members. IBEW 26
Federal Credit Union was started in 1955 by a small group of
electricians that worked out in the field. In 1969, the credit
union moved from the Creamer---s basement to North Capital Street
in Washington, DC and in May of 2006, moved to the present location
in Lanham, Maryland. Board and Committee members volunteer their
time and service to ensure the continued success of the credit
union for its members. The Credit Union has been fortunate to have
so many dedicated volunteers throughout the years along with the
