Homespire is growing, and fast! We are looking for an
experienced HR professional who has helped an organization make the
jump from local or regional to a national player in a short amount
of time. We have a great leadership team and a great employee
population of 400+ spread around the US, and now we need to build
an HR team that will propel us forward. If you have experience
managing HR in times of growth, implemented forward-thinking people
programs, and have the poise and teamwork skills to match, we’d
like to hear from you. You’ll find us in Gaithersburg – right off
the 270 express lanes and easily accessible to the DMV.
Serve as a valued member of the senior leadership team
Manage an HR team of three
Create an aggressive but reasonable plan to implement key people
programs and execute to the plan
Manage core HR functions (deep onboarding, performance planning,
employee relations, benefits, compensation, compliance)
Develop great relationships with managers and be known as a
Create new programs to keep Homespire a great place to work
Mortgage industry exposure or experience a plus
Knowledge of all core HR functions
Understanding of best practices and current trends affecting
performance, compensation, and benefits
Shockingly good communication skills
Ability to use technology to streamline processes and to serve
the employee population
Negotiation and influence skills
BS in business/related field; MS/MA in HR preferred
4+ years in management
Demonstrated career growth from generalist to manager to
director level (or ready for director level)
