Job Description:
ManTech is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist to
support our government projects, focusing on mission-critical
national security programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible
for managing supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient flow
of goods and services necessary for complex governmental
operations. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics
processes and the ability to work effectively under regulatory
constraints typical in the federal sector. Oversee and optimize
supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory
management, and transportation. Coordinate with vendors and
suppliers to meet the procurement needs of national security
programs. Implement logistics strategies to enhance efficiency and
reduce costs while maintaining compliance with federal regulations.
Prepare reports and briefs for project management and other
stakeholders on logistics performance metrics. Ensure timely
delivery of services and materials in accordance with project
timelines and mission requirements. Strong knowledge of logistics
and supply chain management in the federal government context.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a
high-pressure environment. Excellent communication and coordination
skills. Proficiency with logistics software and databases.
Certification in Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCP) or
similar is preferred.
