Job Description:

As a critical part of our cybersecurity team, the CNO Reverse Engineer at ManTech will utilize their expertise in analyzing complex software systems to identify vulnerabilities within national security applications. This role involves dissecting and understanding adversarial code, malware, and targeting embedded systems with the goal of enhancing security measures and crafting robust cyber defense strategies. You will be instrumental in supporting our national security missions by reverse engineering products that are used in intelligence, defense, and federal health realms, ensuring integrity and security of sensitive data. Analyze and reverse engineer software and malware to determine functionality, origin, and potential impact. Develop secure code and system patches after thorough analysis to mitigate vulnerabilities. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to plan, execute, and lead mitigation strategies. Document findings and present reports on reverse engineering processes and outcomes to stakeholders. Contribute to the development of new tools and techniques in cybersecurity threat analysis. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Assembly Strong understanding of operating systems and software vulnerabilities Experience with tools like IDA Pro, Ghidra, or similar for debug and disassembly tasks Ability to analyze complex systems and cryptographic protections Knowledge of network protocols and communication standards Certified Reverse Engineering Analyst (CREA) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE) or equivalent
