Job Description:

national security programs, seeks a skilled Information Systems
Security Engineer to safeguard sensitive information integral to
U.S. national defense. This role involves designing, implementing,
and monitoring security measures to protect systems and data. Your
expertise will contribute directly to projects that have meaningful
implications for national security, making this a uniquely

Analyze and establish security requirements for IT systems/networks
Defend systems against unauthorized access, modification, and/or
destruction Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security
infrastructure software and hardware Monitor network traffic for
unusual activity and execute countermeasures Conduct security
audits to identify vulnerabilities Design and conduct tests to
ensure system security in all aspects Collaborate with management
and IT department to improve security Document secure procedures
and reporting incidents Proficient in technologies such as
firewalls, anti-virus software, patch management systems, etc.
Strong understanding of the latest security principles, techniques,
and protocols Familiarity with web-related technologies and
network/web related protocols Critical thinking skills and ability
to solve complex problems Ability to manage multiple projects under
