Job Description:
Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing
platforms, is seeking a skilled Controls Technician for our Data
Center Communities (DCC). This role is critical in ensuring the
operational integrity of AWS's physical infrastructure. The
Controls Technician will be responsible for maintaining and
troubleshooting building and data center systems, focusing on data
center controls and building management systems to ensure they meet
AWS's rigorous standards and operational requirements. This
position offers a unique opportunity to work in an advanced
technological environment with a team of dedicated professionals.
Monitor and maintain building management systems and controls for
data centers. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, mechanical,
and control systems. Implement preventative maintenance measures to
ensure reliability of operational equipment. Collaborate with
engineering and maintenance teams to improve infrastructure and
reduce downtime. Respond to and address emergency maintenance
requests and system failures. Document all maintenance tasks and
adhere to safety standards. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical,
and mechanical systems. Experience with building management systems
and controls, particularly in a data center environment. Proficient
in troubleshooting and emergency response. Ability to read and
understand technical diagrams and schematics. Excellent
communication and teamwork skills. Medical Insurance Dental
