Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Center Security Specialist for our AMER East region, tasked with the critical responsibilities of safeguarding our expansive and dynamic data center operations. As a vital member of the AWS Security team, this role involves a strategic blend of technical prowess and physical security acumen to ensure the utmost protection of AWS's infrastructure, which supports millions of customers globally. The ideal candidate will be adept in monitoring physical and cyber security systems, devising robust security protocols, and effectively responding to and mitigating security incidents. Monitor security infrastructure and systems to detect anomalies and potential breaches. Develop and implement comprehensive security protocols and measures. Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with both internal standards and regulatory requirements. Respond rapidly and effectively to security incidents, minimizing impact. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance security measures. Provide training and support to security team members. Stay updated with the latest in security technology and threats.
