Job Description:

Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in providing innovative cloud computing solutions, is seeking an experienced Project Schedule Manager for our AMER Construction Programs. This role requires expertise in construction project management, focusing on scheduling, resources, and timeline management for various construction projects across the Americas. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution phases, ensuring that all projects under AWS facilities are delivered on time, within scope, and align with our high standards and sustainability commitments. Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules using advanced project management tools. Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely project execution. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to handle delays and other issues. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status. Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure alignment with budget and material availability. Lead scheduling meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members. Ensure compliance with both internal AWS standards and external regulatory requirements. Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of construction processes and regulations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or equivalent is beneficial.
