(OTS) has a rich history of providing IT support and associated
services in highly complex, highly regulated, highly secure
environments, including the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), law
enforcement, health care, retail, and the casino gaming industry.
OTS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Oneida Innovations Group and is
the parent company of Croop-LaFrance (CLF), an experienced federal
contracting firm. We are searching for experienced Field Service
Technicians to support Fort Meade. Individuals selected for this
role will support enlisted personnel in providing end-user support
and provide technical support for the following: - Desktop
hardware, software, and peripherals. Install, configure, and
troubleshoot desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and
software applications. - Diagnose and resolve hardware and software
issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other
peripherals. - Set-up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and
passwords. - Respond to tickets and requests for technical
assistance in a timely manner. - Collaborate with other IT teams to
escalate and resolve complex technical issues. - Maintain accurate
records of hardware inventory and software licenses. - Perform
routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates and system
backups. - Educate end-users on basic troubleshooting techniques
and best practices for using technology. This job description can
vary depending on the specific requirements of the organization and
the level of support needed. This role is also responsible for
aiding in asset management of on-site devices. Requirements:
Current CompTIA Security or equivalent DOD baseline certification
Minimum of 6 years of experience supporting Windows
desktop/laptop/PCs and other devices Security Clearance is
required; interim level is acceptable. IT education preferred.
Experience with ServiceNow is a plus. Must be able lift 50 lbs.
