Standard Communities is a leading owner, investor, and developer of

communities across the country. Demand for affordable housing

last several years, Standard has experienced hyper-scaling growth –
50% unit growth in two years and 40% headcount growth in the past
year – as we’ve increased our capacity to preserve and create
housing at scale. Our portfolio now includes nearly 30,000 units
across 22 states, supported by $6B AUM. As both a Certified B
Corporation and a California Benefit Corporation, we aim to pair
strong performance with a clear commitment to social impact.
Looking ahead, we are pursuing an ambitious five-year plan to
double our footprint to 50,000 units by 2030 and continue building
the capabilities needed to serve residents and communities
effectively. We approach this work with a mix of operational
discipline, curiosity, and a belief that housing can be a
foundation for opportunity. About the Strategy & Operations Team
Standard is growing quickly, and our team exists to make that
growth work. As the company scales, we’re building the strategy,
data layer, and tech-enabled workflows that unlock speed — allowing
us to build housing at a time when the U.S. is short millions of
affordable units and demand far outpaces supply. We operate like a
product-minded team inside a mission-driven company: shipping
improvements, testing ideas, and building the systems that will
support the next stage of growth. About the Role Standard’s
Strategy & Operations group is looking for a strong,
operations-minded consultant or banker with 2-4 years of experience
to join us. The work centers on advancing the CEO’s priority
initiatives, including improving how deal teams source and
structure projects and how operations support those deals
post-close. The role offers direct access to functional leaders
across the business and a front-row view of how affordable housing
deals actually are built and run. You’ll be involved from early
problem framing through design and real implementation.
Requirements 2-4 years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm,
investment banking firm, or private equity firm Strong
problem-solving and communication skills Strong financial modeling
and data analysis skills Experience in strategic business planning,
revenue optimization, and operational scaling in a multi-entity
organization Familiarity with real estate is a plus, but a track
record in solving complex business problems and executing growth
initiatives is a must You are our ideal candidate if you… Want to

identify bottlenecks, and design robust but practical solutions
Want exposure to transactions, financing, operations, and the full
lifecycle of a deal Are excited by building the strategy, data, and
tech foundations that support the company’s next stage of
growth
