As part of the Consumer Monetization Platform Engineering team, you will be working on frontend web engineering tech stack and next generation Machine Learning- and AI-based auction mechanics, supporting new functionalities on existing platforms,The position involves developing and scaling ad formats and tools for Yahoo Inc's Consumer Monetization team, which focuses on creating innovative monetization strategies and products across various Yahoo brands. The role requires collaboration with product and engineering teams to design, implement, and review technical solutions that enhance revenue generation through digital advertising technologies.Your Day

• Design and implement ad formats and tools for self-serve campaign testing and launch.
• Perform end-to-end technical design and code reviews.
• Innovate on new revenue models such as subscriptions and commerce.
• Brainstorm and create business models to monetize online product offerings.
• Take ownership of features impacting millions of users.
• Recommend alternative approaches to complex problems using new technology.
• Seek opportunities to improve quality and efficiency from ideation to deployment.Qualifications
  BS with 7+ years of relevant Industry experience/M.S. in Computer Science with 4+ years of relevant Industry experience. Computer Science graduate ideally with specialization in Web/Frontend Development
  
  • Hands-on experience with frontend programming languages such as nodeJS, React, AngularJS, Javascript, and CSS.
  • Deep technical knowledge of web application development and browser-side client technologies including AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and object-oriented Javascript.
  • Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience in shipping high-quality products and services.
  • Prior knowledge of display, video, or native advertising.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Nice to have:
    
    • Experience troubleshooting and solving large-scale problems across multiple systems.
    • Experience with tensorflow.js, onnx.js, for deploying models in browser
    • Deep understanding of wasm
    • Experience in browser apis (web workers, indexeddb, webgl) for real-time ml model execution in the browser environment
