Software Quality Engineer IV to join our team! In this role, you
will be responsible for responsible for leading quality engineering
strategy and execution across multiple software projects. The SQE
IV reviews quality standards, tools, methodologies, processes, and
practices across the product portfolio and offers expertise and
guidance on continuous improvement based on industry best
practices. This role partners with business and technical subject
matter experts to understand key requirements of business
capabilities and establish standardization of quality practices.
You will lead the design and development of broader level
initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability across the
organization. Additionally, this role works closely with
cross-functional teams and collaborates with software development,
product management and operations to deliver value to our
customers. Responsibilities
- Provide expert level guidance and technical leadership on
standards and best practices across the quality engineering
discipline. Acts as a subject matter expert across ARC's portfolio
of products, technology and datasets and how they are connected.
Provide guidance to delivery teams on a right sized approach on
scope to quickly deliver value.
- Partners with Product Owners, Business SME's and Engineering
leads to analyze business needs and clearly articulate quality
approaches which reduce risks. Ensure the overall delivery strategy
is aligned with and anticipates the business needs to drive
acceleration of ARC Product development.
- Lead quality strategy across the product portfolio for multiple
concurrent high visibility efforts working in both onshore and
offshore delivery models. Summarize and effectively communicate
progress on quality initiatives to business, project stakeholders
and senior leadership.
- Stay up to date with latest automation tools and strategies,
emerging technology, trends and best practices. Lead the quality
engineering competency in understanding current standards,
developing new tools, datasets and process improvements which
provide business products with increased efficiency,
maintainability, flexibility and agility.
- Review test case documentation, automation scripts and training
/ talent development materials across all products; leads quality
team in continuously improving and updating quality
content.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Math;
Master's Degree preferred
- At least 15 years of experience as a Software Quality Engineer
with 7+ years in a leadership role.
- 7+ years working developing automated frameworks, performance
testing, and metrics.
- 7+ years with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and Continuous Integration
and Continuous Delivery.
- Expert knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and
automated testing tools. E.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright
- Experience setting up a TCoE or equivalent; defining,
prioritizing, communicating, and fostering adoption of best
practices
- Experience in test case management tooling and
administration.
- Experience in Data verification and reports testing
- Experience testing in a Cloud environment, preferably AWS.
- Experience with programming; coding in Java/Python, JavaScript
or Ruby
- Advanced knowledge of databases/SQL and writing highly complex
queries.
- Ability to discover and define functional requirements and to
transform them into technical requirements and solution
definition.
- Experience leading multiple teams using both onshore / offshore
models to mentor and guide multiple-disciplined (full stack)
technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability
to communicate with internal and external customers and all levels
of management, including communicating technical information to
non-technical audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and providing process
improvements.
- Strong sense of ownership and drive high
