Job Description:
PEAKE is a Maryland-based managed IT service provider. We serve
the healthcare industry, along with a few other businesses in the
Baltimore and Washington, DC metro areas. We are a quickly-growing

while building skills in complex IT environments.Role:The main
roles of Tier 3 / Systems Administrators are (1) to serve PEAKE's
clients by completing projects and (2) to resolve escalated
technical support tickets. Time is split between these two
functions. Members of Tier 3 / Systems Administrator team are
essential to the improvement of PEAKE's clients' IT
environments.Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft networks including the
administration and management of Windows Server technologies
including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
- Ability to design, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain
firewalls, switches, and other network appliances.
- Proficiency with Linux systems such as Ubuntu server.
Candidates should be comfortable working at the Linux command line.
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere
and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Experience managing enterprise IT hardware: Intel server
architecture, RAID, uninterruptible power systems, etc.
- Ability to administer email services including Google Workspace
and Microsoft 365.
- Customer service skills including verbal and written
communication.
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to learn rapidly.
- Strong work ethic and a passion for delivering quality
solutions.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as point of escalation for support tiers 1 and 2 on
client trouble tickets.
- Visit client sites as needed for system
installation/maintenance/troubleshooting.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively
and resolving issues quickly.
- Listen to customer requirements to design, configure, and
support new systems.
- Provide coaching to tiers 1 and 2.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripts or leveraging our RMM
suite.
- Serve in on-call rotation for resolving client emergencies.
Non-emergency after-hours client requests are addressed by the tier
1 and 2 teams.
- Occasionally travel to other states for project
work.Experience:
- At least 4 years of IT experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.Preferred:
- Experience in a fast-paced consulting or MSP environment.
- Familiarity with managing VOIP phone systems.
- Familiarity with ConnectWise, Meraki and Ubiquiti, Barracuda,
Duo, Datto.
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry and healthcare
compliance requirements.Job Type: Full-timeSalary:$80,000.00 -
