Job Description The Diversity & Inclusion Specialist role is based in the firm’s Washington, DC office and supports firmwide diversity and inclusion initiatives. Reporting to the Manager of Diversity & Inclusion, the Specialist works across a global law firm structure to design, implement, and communicate D&I programs, learning content, and messaging. The role collaborates closely with HR, Legal Talent, Well-Being, Marketing/Business Development, Affinity Groups, and other departments. Key responsibilities include developing and coordinating in-person and virtual D&I events and education programs, supporting affinity group initiatives, creating toolkits and learning materials, contributing to recruiting and talent development processes, assisting with D&I surveys and client requests, and supporting internal and external communications. The role also tracks engagement metrics, conducts D&I best-practice research, manages projects, and serves as a virtual event host. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, at least two years of relevant experience in D&I, learning and development, or communications, strong writing and project management skills, and familiarity with D&I concepts and technologies. Law firm or professional services experience is preferred. The anticipated salary range is $85,000 to $120,000.
