Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 13, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a 38-bed unit with a diverse cardiovascular, pulmonary, and psychiatric patient population on night shifts. Details - Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit at an acute care hospital - Patient population includes cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, substance abuse, and medical diagnoses with underlying psychiatric disorders - 38-bed unit with RN-to-patient ratios of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights and weekends; PCT-to-patient ratio is 1:10 - Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts) - 36 hours per week - Every other weekend required - Holidays required every other and as needed - No on-call responsibilities Requirements - Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand - Current BLS certification required - Prior Med/Surg Telemetry unit experience required - Strong IV skills required - Experience at a comparable-sized facility required - SSN and DOB required for consideration - One professional reference required for consideration Additional Information - Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates - 13-week contract, 36 hours per week American Traveler Job ID P-683347.
