Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift/n/n Assignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Night shift, 3 shifts of 12 hours. /n/nJob Description/n The Respiratory Therapist provides quality patient care, delivering intensive respiratory care and patient transport as medically prescribed, within the scope of professional license and with minimal supervision. The role involves evaluating patients and recommending treatment plans, explaining procedures to patients, and educating them upon discharge. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Conduct physician prescribed treatments operating various ventilatory equipment, oxygen and aerosol devices, and nebulizers. /n - Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, and capnography monitoring. /n - Review patient's chest x-rays and perform pulmonary function studies. /n - Assist with respiratory care procedures, including bronchoscopy and chest tube placement. /n - Manage tracheostomy care and perform arterial punctures. /n - Conduct routine maintenance on ventilatory equipment and ensure accurate documentation. /n - Collaborate with medical staff regarding patient care and effectiveness of therapy. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Current Respiratory Therapist license. /n - Experience with ventilatory equipment and respiratory procedures. /n - Certification in BLS and ACLS guidelines. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
