Locum Veterinarians with our network showcase their extensive skills across different settings and contribute significantly to our mission of supporting veterinary practices by ensuring continuous, quality care for pets during regular veterinarians’ absence. Provide comprehensive veterinary care, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery, according to the standards set by the practice. Ensure continuity of care, maintaining comprehensive medical records and communicating effectively with regular staff. Support a variety of veterinary health teams, adapting quickly to different operational procedures. Participate in the ongoing assessment and management of the veterinary health programs at partner clinics. Educate pet owners about preventive health care, conditions, and treatment options. Strong surgical and diagnostic capabilities. Ability to adapt to new environments and integrate quickly with existing teams. Capacity to make decisions independently and in high-pressure situations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client consultations and team interactions. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid veterinary license in the applicable state or ability to obtain. Specialization in areas such as surgery, emergency care or cardiology is preferred but not required.
