Locum Tenens Opportunity: General Diagnostic Radiologist Near
West Friendship, MD We are seeking a qualified General Diagnostic
Radiologist for a locum tenens position near West Friendship, MD.
This role involves providing essential radiological services on
weekends, with a focus on diagnostic imaging. This is an excellent
opportunity for a radiologist looking for a part-time commitment
with a flexible schedule. Position Overview: Specialty: General
Diagnostic Radiologist (Onsite)Start Date: ASAP ??? 4/7/25
(Temp/Emergency privileges available for candidates with a clean
background and short work history) Position Details: Shift: 2 PM
??? 10 PM Schedule: Saturday and Sunday coverage Practice Setting:
Hospital/Medical Center (443-bed acute care facility) Work Details:
Coverage Needed: Weekend evening shifts (2 PM ??? 10 PM); potential
for some remote day shifts on weekends. Case Volume: Approximately
50 RV units per shift, covering diagnostic radiology reads, X-rays,
CT, MRI, and ultrasound. Patient Population: All ages. Department:
Radiology. Remote Coverage Criteria: Remote coverage is only
available for providers living in Maryland, DC, or Virginia.
Out-of-state providers are not eligible for remote work, even if
licensed. Requirements: Board Certification: Required. State
License: Active license required. DEA License: Not required.
Background Check: Must have a clean background to qualify for
temp/emergency privileges. Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days. Why
