per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2 years required;
will accept first-time travelers with strong ICU/Critical care
experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS,
PALS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred; strong
critical care experience Description: The PACU RN will provide care
to patients recovering from anesthesia. The position requires
working night shifts, with a patient ratio of 2:1. Every other
weekend and holiday coverage are required as scheduled. Floating
may be required within the PACU specialty and ICU/Critical care.
The RN will administer medications and assist with post-operative
care. Experience with a variety of procedures, including but not
limited to gastric bypass, vascular surgery, and total joint
replacements, is preferred. The role includes a broad range of
skills from airway management to monitoring of vital signs and
medication administration. The RN will perform patient assessments
and provide necessary discharge instructions. Strong communication
and teamwork skills are essential for effective patient care. The
RN must be comfortable managing both adult and pediatric patients
in varying levels of acuity. Candidates will need to float within
the hospital and be adaptable to changes in patient care needs.
Candidates must be able to provide satisfactory professional
references from recent employers. Travelers must comply with all
orientation and credentialing requirements prior to starting.
Maintaining a professional and compassionate approach to patient
