UPMC offers a sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment. The ideal
candidate will possess a strong focus on patient care, thrive in

this role, you'll collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals,
to provide essential visualizations for accurate diagnosis and
treatment. Duties include General Orthopaedic-based X-Ray and
Assisting Clinical Team with rooming patients, obtaining vitals,
reconciling medications & health histories, castings and DME.
Casting and DME training will be provided for the right candidate.
This position works from 9:30am-6 p.m. Monday to Friday. Potential
occasional travel to other locations, as needed, for coverage gaps.

differential for qualifying evening and weekend hours. Graduate of
an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification
from ARRT approved school of completion of program and scheduled
graduation date. Technologists hired before graduation will have
indirect supervision by an ARRT certified diagnostic technologist
until the degree is verified. Technologist cannot work in an
outpatient setting until ARRT has been obtained. Licensure,
Certifications, and Clearances: ARRT Registry eligible as a
Radiologic Technologist. Must obtain radiography registry within 6
months of hire date as of January 1, 2025. Diagnostic Technologists
hired prior to January 1, 2025, will need to obtain their registry
within 12 months of hire/transfer date. CPR or BLS Required. CPR
required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and
skills demonstration component within 30 days of hireTechnologist
cannot work in an outpatient setting until ARRT has been
obtained.If working in a NY facility, you must have received
certification from the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
Board (NMTCB) and be Licensed through the New York State Department
of Health. ARRT Certificate Basic Life Support (BLS) OR
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting
with renewal Act 33 with renewal Act 34 with renewal Act 73 FBI
