An exceptional locum position is available in Atlantic City, NJ
where your expertise in hematology and oncology can truly shine.
This is a fantastic chance to enhance patient care while earning a
competitive hourly rate! Position Details: Start Date: January July
Coverage Needed: Locum Physician to provide Inpatient consultative
services across 2 hospitals 10 miles apart. Schedule Details: Dates
of coverage: 1 week (7 days Mon-Sun) per month, 8a-5p. Submission
Requirements: Must meet ALL submission requirements in order to
submit! Board certified in both Hematology and Oncology - REQUIRED
Active NJ license - REQUIRED ACLS - Required - REQUIRED Must be
able to work for both Atlantic City and Galloway locations -
REQUIRED Work Details: Practice Setting: Hospital Inpatient
consultative services across 2 hospitals 10 miles apart Coverage
needed due to growth in outpatient volume and part-time inpatient
providers being sick. Patient population: Adult and Geriatric
Practice distribution: 49% hematology, 51% oncology 5.6 physicians
in the practice Radiation Oncologist available at EHT Cancer Center
for case discussions 8 APPs providing coverage - Monday to Friday,
an inpatient NP will assist the MD with notes, orders, and staff
communication Average hospital patient load: 8 per day (5 consults,
3 follow-ups) Clinical areas: Oncology and Hematology in an
inpatient setting Hospital trauma level: Atlantic City - Level 1
EMR system: Cerner Required procedures: Inpatient consultative
