Healthcare Job Details - Location: Washington, DC 20010 (DC nursing jobs) - Setting: Outpatient Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic - Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/9/2026 – End: 5/11/2026) - Shift: Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour days (8:00am – 4:30pm) or 4x10-hour days (8:00am – 6:30pm) - Hours per Week: 40 - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1810 - $1940 - Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active DC Registered Nurse license (required for Washington, DC healthcare jobs) - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; hematology/oncology experience preferred - BLS certification required - OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) and BMTCN (Bone Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse) certifications preferred - Outpatient clinic experience preferred - Experience with Cerner charting system preferred - Strong skills in care coordination, patient/family education, and central line care - Two supervisor references required PCU Nurse Responsibilities - Coordinate care for patients undergoing stem cell transplant and CAR-T therapy - Manage post-transplant clinic appointments, testing, and communication between interdisciplinary healthcare teams - Provide patient and family teaching on immunosuppression, follow-up care, infusions, and medications - Support patients with malignant hematology diagnoses, including lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma, and post-transplant care - Perform central line blood draws and PICC line care - Recognize and communicate abnormal lab values - Participate in telephone triage and outpatient clinic operations Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your nursing career with this rewarding travel nursing opportunity in Washington, DC!
