qualified Home Health RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20003! Pay
Information $2,402 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 -
17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience
or 1 full year Hospice experience License: Must have license in
hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: - Recent specialty
experience in Home Health - Proficient in OASIS and HomeCare
HomeBase EMR Description: Provides, coordinates, and directs the
provision of home nursing care according to physician orders based
on agency policies and procedures through the competent application
of the nursing process. Responsible to the Clinical Manager.
Directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed
Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Degree of travel
includes home visits and periodic office meetings. Must have
reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and
agency-required liability insurance. Average number of patients per
day is 5-8. Each type of visit and activity holds a different point
value. Contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day.
This equates to roughly 6-8 points. Types of cases include Start of
Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits. Must be willing to travel
up to 75 miles from the home clinic. Mileage will be reimbursed at
the IRS standard rate. All professionals must be proficient in
HomeCare HomeBase and have used it within the last 6 months. If
not, a retraining course will be required during compliance. All
documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment.
Delayed and incomplete documentation that impacts billing and
follow-up patient care may result in a cancellation. There are no
guaranteed hours with this contract, but clinicians are expected to
hit weekly productivity points of 30, which equates to 40 hours per
week. If not receiving enough patients each week, the clinician has
the opportunity to float to another nearby clinic to pick up
