Job Description:
The Occupational Therapist assesses and treats patients with
illness, injury, or impairments affecting daily activities such as
grooming, dressing, eating, and mobility.
Develops, implements, and monitors individualized care plans to
promote independence, reduce joint strain, prevent damage, and
conserve energy.
Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
throughout treatment.
Requires a degree in Occupational Therapy, licensure, BLS
certification, and at least one year of experience preferred.
Demonstrates strong assessment, decision-making, communication, and
organizational skills.
Works in a clean, ventilated environment with potential exposure to
communicable diseases and requires good physical condition for
patient handling and equipment manipulation.
