Director of Community Development & Outreach to lead external
engagement efforts that support our mission and expand our impact

responsible for strengthening philanthropic programs, growing donor
and stakeholder engagement, and representing TRA and the TRA

is based out of our Administrative building in Downtown Tacoma.
Free and secure parking is provided. Schedule: 0.6 FTE - 24 hours
per week. Monday - Friday with some weekend events.What You'll Do:
- Design and lead both short- and long-term community outreach
strategies to advance the missions of TRA and the TRA
Foundation.
- Build and maintain impactful relationships with donors,
community stakeholders, corporate partners, and prospects.
- Represent the TRA Foundation on community boards, committees,
and at public events, serving as a brand ambassador.
- Plan and execute mission-aligned outreach programs and
fundraising events to support key initiatives like Mobile Mammo
Northwest (MMNW).
- Oversee the development and delivery of donor campaigns,
fundraising activities, and engagement strategies.
- Present data-driven reports to leadership on fundraising
progress and identify opportunities for growth.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Provider Relations,
and Foundation staff to ensure message alignment and operational
excellence.
- Serve as a core contributor to the Fund Development Board
Committee and collaborate with executive leadership on long-term
development planning.What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations,
Nonprofit Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in community outreach, donor
relations, fundraising, or nonprofit development.
- Demonstrated success in donor cultivation, event planning, and
community engagement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis
on professionalism and relationship-building.
- Proficiency with CRM or donor management software and Microsoft
Office tools.
- Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and translate
insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience in healthcare or nonprofit sectors, particularly
within the Pacific Northwest, is a plus.Key Skills:
