Bally's Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a
growing omni-channel presence, currently owning and managing 15
casinos across 10 states, a golf course in New York, a horse
racetrack in Colorado, and having access to OSB licenses in 18
states. The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle, UK,
further expands its international footprint and enhances its
diverse entertainment offerings. It also owns Bally's Interactive
International, formerly Gamesys Group, a leading, global,
interactive gaming operator, Bally Bet, a first-in-class sports
betting platform, and Bally Casino, a growing iCasino platform.
With 10,600 employees, the Company's casino operations include
approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games, and 3,800
hotel rooms. Bally's also has rights to developable land in Las
Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.
Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino &
Entertainment Inc. ("Queen"), the above portfolio is expected to be
supplemented with four additional casinos across three states, one
of which will be an additional state that expands Bally's
jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will
also add over 900 employees, and operations that currently include
approximately 2,400 slot machines, 50 table games, and 150 hotel
rooms to the Bally's portfolio. Bally's will also become the
successor of Queen's significant economic stake in a global lottery
management and services business through its investment in Intralot
S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).
The Role:
The Financial Accounting Manager will work closely with the
Financial Controller and the Vice President of Finance to lead
Bally's Atlantic City's financial reporting function. The financial
reporting function will include duties relating to closing the
books, leading the Financial Accounting Department, coordinating
the monthly closing process, preparing financial statements, and
completing Balance Sheet reconciliations. The function will also
include duties related to external reporting (CCC/DGE Reports
et.al.) and SOX compliance. Assists with the coordination of the
annual external audit along with assisting in the preparation of
the U.S. G.A.A.P. audited financial statements and related
footnotes.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Financial Accounting staff including hiring, training,
and developing to ensure that all services provided are accurate,
on time, and at the optimum cost.Maintain the integrity of various
accounting information systems including Sage MAS 500, Blackline,
Red Rock, and SharePoint.Coordinate the company's period closing
processes and perform period end closing activities including
journal entry review, journal entry postings, account
reconciliation and review, and other as hoc reporting as
assigned.Prepare monthly financial statements on a month to date
and year to date basis which would include the creation of a
balance sheet and income statement.Complete various year end audit
analyses and schedules to create the company's audited financial
statements. Work with both internal and external auditors on SOX
compliance.Tracks Fixed Assets and prepares company's State of New
Jersey tax filings.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Good interpersonal skills* Well organized, detail oriented, and
able to handle a fast-paced work environment* Strong Prioritization
skills* Able to complete multiple duties with accuracy, shifting
from one task to another with frequent interruptions and competing
deadlines.* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft
Office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and
Teams. Ability to become proficient at creating reports using Sage
Intelligence.

Qualifications

Experience* Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA or MBA preferred
but not required
