Job Description:

This position pays between 60-70k annually plus a company vehicle and gas card.Summary: Provide Construction Management (Oversight) of New Capital/Upgrade Projects/Site Contractors/Equipment Vendors. Coordinate all site activities for the term of the construction schedule from mobilization to the site through issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy (COO). Manage the Final Punch List and completion of the Building/Site Performance Testing. Oversee/Approve Contractor Vendor Invoices for Payment and hold weekly construction project meetings on site.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ---May Manage Multiple Projects at the same time---Manage all on site New Construction/Equipment installation activities---Manage all existing site renovation/upgrade projects as assigned---Manage the Construction/Equipment Installation Schedules (update weekly in Smartsheet Schedules)---Review and Approve Monthly Field Pay Estimates for Contractors/Vendors---Manage Construction/Equipment/installation conflict/issues and report up to the Project PM with site resolution or solutions---Meet construction budget by providing capital budget and annual operating information, identifying variances, and monitoring project expenses---Maintain Daily Construction Site Reports---Provide Change Order coordination and cost estimating---Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring construction issues---Oversee all onsite construction to monitor compliance with Federal, State and Local building and Life Safety 101 and OSHA Regulations---Meeting with Project Manager and contractors on an ongoing basis regarding project objectives and progress.---Other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsMust be able to interpret design/construction drawings/construction methodsMinimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry on project sitesHigh School Diploma is requiredBachelor degree preferred (in business, construction management, or engineering)Valid driver's licenseComputer proficient, with experience in MS Excel, Project, and WordJob Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.---Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills---Sound construction judgment and excellent reporting skills---Ability to problem solve by gathering and analyzing information---A working knowledge of federal and state standards as well as local regulating body standards---Knowledge of jobsite safety practices required Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. Work EnvironmentThis position is remote (at home) with the frequent need to travel to corporate facilities and assigned construction sites. The noise level at corporate facilities and offices is usually moderately quiet & indoors. The noise level on construction sites is commensurate with normal construction noise levels. Incumbent may be exposed to virus, disease, and/or infection from clients in the work environment. Incumbent may be exposed to traumatic situations (i.e. psychiatric).Construction Work Environment This position will require regional/local project travel.This position will be scheduled based on project need & a company vehicle and travel expense plan will be included to travel between projects.
