About the Role

The Information Technology Group (ITG) is a collection of people, processes and technology investments that are designed to achieve the business goals of FTI Consulting. The Manager of IT Adoption and Training works to manage the firm-wide adoption and training program for IT services and enterprise technology. This individual will support initiatives and adoption program development through a global communications, digital adoption, and system implementation plan. This position supports the Information Technology Group (ITG) and Director of IT Adoption and Training by managing firm-wide adoption of deployed system improvements and platforms through developing and implementing enterprise-wide training, employee engagement initiatives and strategic communications efforts. This position supports the larger group-wide, go-to-market strategy for the Information Technology Group on a global, firmwide bases.

What You'll Do

Organizational Change Management activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ongoing collateral content design, review, management, and updates for major Enterprise Technology Systems
  • Host and manage content for New Hire and Intern Training for Enterprise Technology Systems and Onboarding Technology Training Orientation
  • Content management and updates for SharePoint intranet site performing period audits refreshing materials and information as needed
  • Engage end users and promote best practices for enterprise technology systems through improvements and updates to the digital adoption platform WalkMe.
  • Write, create & deploy related emails through the Knak email template system and Eloqua email distribution system.
  • Support ITG and corporate special projects including collateral design & production, communications, and project management.


    The position is expected to plan and engage in project management and end-user activities to ensure a methodical and seamless deployment of technology while promoting system and process adoption. Typical responsibilities include:


    • Manages IT communications creation, production, scheduling and distribution through a centralized process, maintaining consistency in messaging and overall department representation to the firm.
    • Writes persuasive and informative technology messaging that resonates with non-ITG departments and global employees.
    • Designs emails using Knak email template system to create and review IT related communications for both IT Adoption and Training and broader ITG department.
    • Builds and reports on internal email campaigns created in the Eloqua email distribution system
    • Maintains communications distribution lists ensuring accurate target audience is reached as appropriate
    • Creates and executes training plans bridging the technology-to-employee terminology gap, to ensure appropriate stakeholder awareness.
    • Leverages expert level knowledge of global systems to develop and maintain Enterprise Technology training materials managing updates based on system improvements and periodic releases
    • Creates end-user and system administration documentation, user guides, training materials & videos, presentations, SharePoint sites and similar media.
    • Directs and implements IT system adoption training activities and related classes working with Talent Development for global deployment.
    • Audit Knowledge Base Articles in Knowledge Now internal portals working with Human Resources, Talent Development and ITG ensuring current and accurate system information is presented.
    • Maintains and create digital adoption platform (DAP), WalkMe, content highlighting and reinforcing user best practices
    • Manages and creates WalkMe user engagement reports against established KPIs on a regular basis
    • Regularly audits WalkMe content for breaks and system content inaccuracies due to development and ongoing platform releases
    • Works with global ITG professionals establishing and maintaining Enterprise Technology Systems adoption and training continuity

      Basic Qualifications
      • 4 Year Degree Required
      • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Preferred
      • A minimum of 5 years of experience in successfully managing IT training and communications in a corporate environment
      • A minimum of 2 years of experience in working on global, high impact projects
      • International Travel is required
      • Travel required to FTI office(s).

          • Proven experience working with corporate program leaders
          • Excellent communication (written & verbal), planning, organization, and managerial skills
            • Demonstrable Project Management Experience
            • Technical competencies - Strong understanding of technology and terminology enabling effective communication on technical projects.
            • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
            • Ability to work under tight deadlines and stressful situations
            • Ability to handle and balance multiple critical tasks at the same time
            • Strong and persuasive people skills
            • Demonstrated ability in using MS Office Suite with strong analytical skills
            • Experienced in driving execution on a global basis
            • Support other IT staff with open and unresolved issues
            • Willingness to adapt and work with direction, coaching and supervision
              • Physical effort from time to time, which may include moving equipment, light furniture, carrying packages, etc.

                • Ability to, using templates, develop technical solutions, document the solution, and plan/execute the solution
                • Ability to successfully run and manage a portfolio of projects simultaneously.
                • Ability to coordinate resources across multiple projects and deliverables.
