Job Description:

The Manager, Quality is responsible for coordinating and tracking activities performed to maintain compliance with client reports for delegation oversight and other agenda topics for the Quality Oversight Committees. The manager will assist and manage day to day clinical operations and responsibilities of the auditing team.Duties and Responsibilities:--- Assist with the development of the annual Quality Management Initiatives and spearhead at least one quality activity annually;--- Develop and document new policies and procedures and annually update existing quality policies and procedures;--- Design and assist with producing reports and other required documents for presentation;--- Track agendas, minutes and reports and follow up tasks to maintain focus on quality management activities;--- Maintain Mednet (Intranet) quality site and P drive folders; ensure all pertinent documents are stored appropriately;--- Assist with delegation oversight activities including routine auditing, reporting and documentation for client organizations; attend monthly meetings to report activities and facilitate relationship for continuous improvement;--- Responsible for managing a team of auditors, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency and reliability;--- Assist with the design, execution, and management of ongoing quality procedures for all quality personnel;--- Maintain license database for all Inovalon; conduct primary source verification audits, ensure proper licensure and compliance with policy;--- Provide direct feedback, quality/process counseling and coaching, retraining and when necessary reassignment or termination decisions for audit personnel regarding quality issues;--- Maintain open lines of communication and coordination with other departments in Inovalon/CCS and facilitate achievement of goals/plan;--- Assist with development and implementation of training and in-services for auditing team;--- Assist in maintenance and execution of Quality auditing process/tracking system, including assignments to auditing team, summary of scores and reporting;--- Review and analyze audit date and make recommendations/assist with development of action plans for improvement; and--- Ensure compliance with contractual, local, state and national quality standards;--- Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement;--- Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;--- Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company;--- Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function; and--- We reserve the right to change this job description from time to time as business needs dictate and will provide notice of such.Job Requirements:--- Minimum of 2 years' experience with clinical quality;--- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience; and--- Knowledge about accreditation standards.Education:--- Registered Nurse with Bachelor's degree is required.Physical Demands and Work Environment:--- Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);--- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;--- Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;--- Subject to inside environmental conditions;
