Dexis is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor consultant to support
technical solution design for upcoming opportunities with the
Bureau for Diplomatic Security with the U.S. Department of State.
This consultant will serve as the lead subject matter expert on
technical security engineering, contributing significantly to
solution architecture, technical proposal development, and overall
proposal quality. This is a high-impact, short-term engagement for
an individual who understands the operational and technical
dimensions of government diplomatic security and technical security
engineering programs, including physical, technical, and procedural
elements. Responsibilities Provide technical and strategic insight
into the organizational priorities, structure, and decision-making
processes within the Bureau of Diplomatic Security's Technical
Security Engineering (TSE) Office. Lead the development of the
technical approach and solution design for a U.S. government
program related to diplomatic security and TSE. Refine technical
proposal content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with
government priorities and terminology. Translate complex technical
concepts into compelling narratives for evaluation by technical and
non-technical reviewers. Collaborate with subject matter experts
and capture team members to integrate cross-cutting themes such as
innovation, risk management, and operational support. Provide
strategic insight into evolving trends in diplomatic security and
technical security engineering. Qualifications At least 5 years of
directly relevant technical experience in diplomatic security and
TSE, ideally within the Department of State. Deep familiarity with
U.S. Department of State diplomatic security programs, particularly
those under the Training Directorate. Demonstrated experience
developing or managing technical solutions for federal technical
security-related programs. Exceptional writing and communication
skills; prior experience leading technical design and/or writing
for federal proposals is preferred. Proven ability to work
independently in high-stakes, deadline-driven environments. Dexis
