Job Description:
Exelon Corporation, a sustainable leader in the energy industry,
is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer 1 with expertise in energy
systems to join our Engineering & Architecture department. As part
of our innovative team, you will contribute to projects enhancing
our diverse energy portfolio, encompassing nuclear, fossil, and
renewable sources. This role demands a strategic thinker with a
strong foundation in systems engineering principles and a
commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions. Lead the
design and optimization of sustainable energy systems across
multiple sources including nuclear, fossil, and renewable energies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new
technologies and processes for increased efficiency and reduced
environmental impact. Conduct systems analyses to improve
reliability and performance while ensuring compliance with industry
regulations. Manage the implementation of engineering projects from
concept through completion, ensuring they meet budgetary and
scheduling requirements. Provide technical guidance and mentoring
to junior engineers and technical teams. Strong proficiency in
systems engineering methodologies and tools Experience with energy
production and distribution technologies Ability to lead and manage
large-scale projects Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
