Insight, and Insight into Action. The Senior Quality Assurance
Engineer works as a senior member of the Agile team that is
responsible for testing products and components to be delivered
defect free within committed timeframe and scope. This role is
responsible for developing solutions across all tiers of the
application following defined processes. This individual needs to
wear multiple hats, work in a highly collaborative environment and
own the testing process end-to-end. Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in product design reviews, providing input
on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or
potential problems;
- Evaluate and test new or modified features or the product,
including documentation, diagram, and flow chart, to determine if
functionality will perform according to the provided acceptance
criteria and conform to guidelines;
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function,
output, online screen, or content;
- Plan and execute test schedules or strategies in accordance
with project scope or delivery dates;
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and
report defects to software developers and Product Owner;
- Monitor bug resolution and track open issues and
successes;
- Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy,
compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks;
- Maintain compliance with Inovalons policies, procedures and
mission statement;
- Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as
outlined within Inovalons Operating Policies and Procedures in all
ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data
handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the
position;
- Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be
reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving
operational and financial success of the Company;

for applicable processes and procedures within your job function;

Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial software quality assurance
experience;
- Knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of
quality assurance testing and the ability to apply knowledge and
skills to a range of professional assignments including the most
difficult and complex;
- Experience with: Test tools: Selenium, SOAP UI, Fiddler,
Postman. Bugs tracking system: TFS, JIRA, Testlink;
- Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems;
- Experience working on multiple projects and adapt to changing
priorities;
- Statistical analysis of test results;
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments and Relation Database
functionality and internal testing tools;
- Ability to design, write, test and document efficient testing
solutions to meet customer needs;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate
initiative and good judgment;
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization
skills;
- Ability to multi-task with close attention to detail; and
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure & meet
deadlines; Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or
relevant experience; Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Sedentary work ( i.e. sitting for long periods of time)
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible
amount of force;
- Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise
move objects and repetitive motions;
- Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
- Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally
