Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide
essential services for students within a K-12 school environment in
Silver Spring, Maryland. This role centers on meeting the speech,
language, and communication needs of students to support their
academic success and social development. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and
evaluations Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized
Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs Deliver
direct speech and language therapy services as well as consultative
support Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and IEP
teams to ensure integrated student support Qualifications: Active
Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the state of Maryland
Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification or
eligibility to obtain certification Experience working with
school-aged or pediatric populations preferred but not mandatory
Position Details: Opportunities available for both full-time and
part-time schedules Caseload includes students from kindergarten
through 12th grade On-site presence at the school location in
Silver Spring, MD is required This position offers the chance to
