Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services within an educational setting. The role focuses on facilitating clear and effective communication between students and educators, ensuring accessibility and understanding in a virtual environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate and professional sign language interpretation during telehealth sessions. Collaborate with educators to support student engagement and accessibility. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards in all interactions. Adapt communication style to meet the needs of diverse learners. Manage scheduling and session coordination as a contractor. Qualifications: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with a strong understanding of telehealth communication protocols. Experience working as an interpreter in educational or similar environments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage contractual obligations. Knowledge of educational terminology and student support services is a plus. Location: Position located in Lebanon, PA.
