Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dedicated
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students
across K-12 grades in a school setting located in Gaithersburg, MD.
This contract role provides an excellent opportunity to make a
meaningful impact on students communication skills, academic
progress, and social development through individualized therapeutic
support. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough speech and
language assessments and evaluations to identify student needs -
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals tailored to each students
communication challenges - Deliver direct therapy services as well
as consultative support to students, teachers, and families -
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary IEP teams to ensure
cohesive intervention plans Qualifications: - Active
Speech-Language Pathologist license in Maryland - Maryland State
Department of Education (MSDE) Certification or eligibility to
obtain it - Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
but not required - Strong communication and teamwork skills to work
effectively with educators and families Position Details: -
Contract position covering the current school year (CSY) -
Approximately 35 hours per week with 7-hour workdays - Services
provided on-site within a K-12 setting - Full-time or part-time
opportunities available depending on availability This position
