Job Description Job Description Tax Manager Position Overview The Tax Manager will oversee the tax compliance and planning functions for our organization, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations. This position aims to provide strategic tax advice, optimize tax liabilities, and enhance overall tax efficiency while managing a team of tax professionals. Key Responsibilities Manage the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns Provide strategic tax planning and advice to senior management Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations Review and oversee the work of junior tax staff Identify and mitigate tax risks and opportunities Conduct tax research and analysis on various tax issues Support audits and inquiries from tax authorities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA or EA certification required At least 5 years of experience in tax management or a related field Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication and leadership abilities Benefits Health Dental Vision 401(k) match Paid Vacation, holidays, and sick time - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
