We are seeking an experienced Associate Financial Advisor who enjoys working with clients and providing exceptional administrative support.Our team is growing! We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team to manage existing client relationships. You will not be required to build a book of business. Flexibility, versatility, and adaptability are essential for this role.More About the PositionThe service advisor role is vital to the firm's continued success. In this role you will be responsible for gaining a deeper understanding of the clients' wants, needs, wishes, and working to bring them to life. You will also analyze the income and asset situation of clients at least once annually to review and update the client's financial situation. You will work with advisors and other team members in the firm to ensure your activities are conducted in accordance with established procedures and compliance requirements. Technology is key to completing work assignments, so you are highly proficient with financial planning software and have an ability to learn new software quickly.We have the tools and resources to support your efforts, ensuring you are set up for success. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.Primary Responsibilities: --- Assist clients in meeting their unique financial objectives on an ongoing basis. --- Recommend plans to help clients achieve their goals and identify appropriate investment and insurance solutions for estate issues, tax considerations, retirement planning or business planning objectives. --- Provide exceptional client service by responding to client inquiries and work effectively with affiliated professionals who also serve the clients. --- Comply with all FINRA/SEC/Broker/Dealer/Firm compliance regulations; satisfy continuing education requirements.Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. in Business; advanced degree/designation, a plus (e.g., MBA, CFP -, CPA, etc.)
  • Prior enrollment or willingness to enroll in CFP Certification Program
  • Minimum of 1-year relevant experience within financial services
  • FINRA Series 7 and/or Series 66 registrations
  • Experience working with NFS processes and forms, a plus
  • Excellent knowledge and communication of financial planning concepts and terminology
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong verbal/written communications skills
  • First-hand knowledge of third-party asset management systems, including how they work, their benefits, and their drawbacks a plus
  • Comfort discussing estate planning issues or identifying and referring to another professional as appropriate
  • Proficiency with computer programs, including MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Morningstar -, and financial planning software.
  • Ability to establish rapport with clients and coworkers
